Meet our Leadership Team

Garid was born and raised in Southern California, and graduated from Ocean View High School in Huntington Beach. After completing a four year basketball scholarship, and graduating from Vanguard University, he then attended the Calvary Chapel Bible College for two years.

Garid began his ministry at Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa in Southern California in 2004. He had the great privilege of being the pastor and evangelist for the Monday Nights LIVE Bible study with a live radio program for nearly nine years.

Garid Beeler planted VISION Calvary Chapel on January 5, 2014 with a campus in Irvine, CA, and plans for another in Los Angeles County with the mission of: Teaching the Bible, Equipping the Saints, and Preaching the Gospel. Garid lives with his wife, Ruth, and their four children, Hudson, Ava, Harrison, and George in Lake Forest, CA.

Jonathan has an extensive amount of experience in ministry, church planting, and pastoral care. He oversees our missions programs at VISION Calvary Chapel as well as our pastoral care ministry which focuses on the spiritual health of the members of our church. Jonathan lives in Irvine with his wife, Marianne. They have two children, and 3 grandchildren.

David serves as an elder at VISION Calvary Chapel, but also is the department head for our usher’s ministry as well as leading the Newport Beach HOUSE Group. David and his wife, Kim were the ones who hosted the very first prayer meeting for VISION City Church before the church began. David and Kim live in Newport Beach, have two children, and two grandchildren.

Steve was born and raised in Southern California, and graduated from Notre Dame University. He has planted and pastored churches across the country, and currently serves as the executive pastor at VISION Calvary Chapel. Steve is married to his wife, Aubrey, and they live in Orange with their two daughters, Elle and Macy.

Bryan is a native of Los Angeles and grew up in the Echo Park/Silverlake district just north of DTLA. He has a passion for serving the Lord and leading God’s people in worship. He is grateful to have a Godly heritage and have been brought up in a home that loved and served Jesus. He and his wife Katie are happy to call Vision Calvary Chapel their church home.
